Exactly! How many times have I tltiantveey tried to lead a teacher towards the idea that maybe it's not the children's fault that learning isn't happening; that maybe the teacher could do things differently?Question I like to ask is, Would you like to be a child in your class?' Would you be engaged with the lesson you have just taught?' Would you feel that your ideas were being listened to?' Would you feel that barriers were being put in your way?'etcI started watching Jamie's Dream School but didn't manage more than 15mins.Teaching is not about being an expert. it's about understanding young minds. It's about listening. It's about providing opportunities in a supportive environment. And yes a sense of humour always helps!
