Arrived in the UK after a very long flight from Singapore. A380 was the best flight I've ever been on - soooo smooth. Met by my sister, brother-in-law, Dad and ste-mum and our nephew, who we have never met. Wonderful to see them all again. Travelled back to the cottage in Isfield to see Shaun's Mum, sister and nephew. Cottage is very christmassy - lovely log fire, wooden beams and a wonderful christmas hamper. Went for an afternoon nap and Shaun and Sam were supposed to be going to watch a Brighton Football Game which was eventually cancelled due to a frozen pitch - so an early night was in order.

Woke up at 2am in the morning, but managed to get back to sleep until 6am. Lovely cooked English Breakfast is now in order - yummmmmyy. Snowing a little outside and kids are very excited so went for a walk around the village to see where Shaun grew up, which is only 4 houses away. Took loads of pictures. More snow now falling and cars are beginning to slide across the road..........supposed to be meeting up with friends in Lancing but not going to be possible. Back to the cottage and put some logs on the fire. Built a snowman and had a snowball fight in the front garden instead.

Still loads of snow outside - but managing to get around a little more today. Heading to my sisters in Hailsham to me Dad for a birthday meal at the Treacle Mine in Polegate. Met up with Auntie Maureen and Uncle Bill, which was really nice to see them. Whilst having the meal it started snowing again and we did think we may have to spend the night at the Premier Inn - lickily it stopped and we managed to get home. Very nice meal though. Later we dropped the kids off at Shaun's parents house and headed over to the Six Bells Pub at Chiddingly for a drink with some friends. Only Derek turned up because of the weather! Don't get pubs like this in Australia. Proper beer and great atmosphere, with people still out after 8pm!!!

Went along with my sister for her growth scan - amazing!! Even got to see baby in 3D which is a little bizarre. Looks very like our nephew and seems to be growing well. Took Alex christmas shopping afterwards whilst Shaun spent time with his brother. Off to Tesco's now to get some shopping.........nothing changes.
