Up and packed, got to the airport early, no camera shops so went straight through. Watched 'Up' a new Disney film which was really funny, we watched it at the same time so we weren't randomly laughing. Good lunch then watched the most recent Harry Potter, (and the half blood Prince) which we didn't get to see the end of which is always annoying. So great to get to Perth, we went through the interigation of customs they pulled us up as soon as they saw we'd travelled through Asia and gave us such a grilling wanting to know every little detail of what we'd been doing and what are future plans were but thankfully didn't have to have our bags searched which is always good, they make you feel so nervous. We hired a car then looked online to see where Mark and Cara(Dara) are staying and headed up to see them. Seabird is in the middle of nowhere we now understand why Cara thought it was so funny when we asked if we could get a bus up to see them. There's a cafe and the Tavern (bar and restaurant) where Mark is creative Chef and Cara the queen of the bar and restaurant. The barman showed us round to their little house on the cliff tops overlooking the sea, they were in the sea so we headed straight down to lots of wet hugs. They had no idea that we were coming so lots of celebratory drinks were in order, Don Det style.

My morning started with a shocker, Tom had gone to the toilet at an early hour and hadn't come back. I was slightly concerned as he didn't have any clothes on, the living room door was open so went looking for him boxers in hand, it turned out he'd ended up in Mark and Caras room not knowing where he was found the spare bed and crashed out. We both went for a nice walk up the beach and a swim, the sea is very much colder than in Asia but beautifully clear. From back up at the house we could see a manta ray swimming along the coast, just slowly gliding, amazing to see. Drove down to Fremantle(Freo) to look at backpackers, cars, jobs etc. Backpackers are $65 a night so recon we'll go back up to Mark and Cara tonight. Tom rang a tree surgery company about a job then we went to meet them, Peter and Kim. Tom worked his charm and got the job, first one he'd tried. Picked up Dan from the Airport, so good to see him, back up to Seabird, another messy night.
