hey everyone, im here safe and well! ok so i know i said that i would keep up to date with this journal but its pretty hard so it might be the case that i just email people instead so check both!!

basically been in bangkok for 2 days now and loving it!! we've seen the grand palace, amazing! we've met some really nice people. on our first night we experianced the delightly of a bucket (sounds a bit dodgy but for those of you that dont know its a drink, thats literally given to you in a bucket) nice and very strong!! we have been malestered at every turn literally by tuk tuk drivers they are the bain of our lives at the moment but its their job so i guess you bear with it, my advice to anyone is when you go to bangkok look at your map before you go out your hostel. if you have a map on you they will just come and take it off you ans draw all over it telling you where they will take you etc etc but its all a bit of a scam unless you can afford to buy stuff you dont want or be dropped off in some remote place no where near to where you wanna be, thats what happened to us. but having said all that they are so much fun! :-)

other than that we have been to bars, listerned to bands (singing english songs in an english voice with a thai accent, very interesting!) i got my hair platted and i think before i go ill get a henna tattoo.
