Hello!!We arrived in Los Angeles on Thursday and took the car back to LAX which was a trip in itself, we had to get the courtesy bus, the airport bus and then the subway back to our hotel! We went to Hooters for dinner and got the hottest waitress so Craig was happy lol! The hostel is directly opposite the Kodak Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard but it's a bit of a dive! Again there was a faff with the travel agent not sending us the voucher for it but we got it sorted in the end!The next day we went to Universal Studios which was really cool. We went on a studio tour which was awesome as Craig and I love film so much, we saw the Jaws, War of the Worlds, and lots of other sets and we saw how they do floods and car tricks and stuff in films it was really cool, Norman Bates came after us with a knife and Jaws tried to attack us, it was so cool! They had some cool rides as well, we went on a Simpsons simulator, The Mummy rollercoaster, The Jurassic Park log flume which we sat on the front of the second time and all got drenched, we also saw how they did all the fire scenes in Backdraft. It was really cool, we thought there would be more stuff there as you pay quite a lot but it was still worth it. The next day we took the bus to Venice Beach which was amazing! We all got rollerblades but Craig couldn't do it so we took them back and got bikes and we all got the geekiest bikes we could find. Craig and Nat got three wheelers and Emma and I got a two person bike lol and we all cycled along the beach front to Santa Monica Pier and back. We got to the beach and Nat, Craig and I went in the sea, the waves were huge, it was so much fun! A couple of times we got battered about and wondered if we would ever get to the surface, it was quite scary at bits lol but lots of fun, although we do all have grazes on our bodies from battering into the sand!! Nat did loose her hot cycling shorts though lol! At night we took a walk along the Walk of Fame but o sign of Robert de Niro or Al Pacino but The Rugrats have one, whats with that?!! We put our hands in the places of the stars and had our photos taken with some 'stars' and were generally tourists for the night an had a look in a few shops. We are now in our hotel by the airport where we have been sorting our bags for flying to Fiji tomorrow!! Emma and Nat left today to go home, it was nice having our buddies here for a while, we had a good road trip together! We are looking forward to going to Fiji though as we need some sleep and fresh food, yesterday we had an Indian for breakfast and for dinner tonight, there are not many options lol, all I want is my Gran's soup!!! Next time you hear from us we will be sunning ourselves in the paradise islands of Fiji, don't get too jealous now!! We cant believe that's our first leg over, it will feel odd to go to the airport and instead of going home as normal we just keep going, how exciting!!Hope everyone is good in Sunny Scotland!!Lots of LoveEva and Craig xxx
