What a wonderful day! Aside from having to wake up early to get off the ship because it was an embarkation day for others, we grabbed a taxi with one of our table mates to "take care of some business". Joey needed to find Diet Pepsi, Joan needed to mail a package, I wanted to find amerone wine .. Our driver took us to a supermarket where all three of us were happy! After the market the driver took us to Delft, a very charming city. We arrived to find a farmers market in the square in front of city hall. There was even a barrel organ! Joey bought cheese and we both bought postcards for LaLa. We headed back to Rotterdam to see the wonderful architecture the city has - most of the city was destroyed in ww2 so the city has exciting new buildings. We also saw some typical buildings, a windmill, and a lovely canal. Back on the ship joey noticed that there was a choir singing us away from port. Great day!!
