Yet another beautiful day in Europe - the expected high was 71 with no rain. We took a bus tour around Strasbourg, the official seat of the European Parliament and is now a symbol of European unity. We learned that 60,000 people go to germany and Switzerland to work; shop in Germany - Kehl - due to it being 40 percent cheaper in Germany than France. Strasbourg changed nationality 5 times in 75 years. The national bird is the stork and they leave in august ever year and return to the same nest in February. Also building for council of civil rights European Parliament Building of the region of Alsace one of 22 regions 230k residents of Strasbourg which is the capital of Alsace. Alsatians seem to be more Germanic than Latin according to the guide. Famous for geraniums although we saw none- it gas been too cold for them. Caught an Uber back to the ship. After so much walking, I was happy to have scheduled another massage ... It was such a beautiful day that I sat out at the bow of the boat and read, while also watching the wind rustle theory the trees, the sun glinting off the water and the swans drifting by looking for food. After dinner we were treated by the ship's company to a performance by a couple called Tête-à-tête; please enjoy the Edith Piaf as we did!
