We leave for Europe in ONE week! Yikes!

My dad, my brother, his girlfriend and I will be going to Europe for a couple weeks. Starting in Paris, then heading our separate ways as A & N go drink lots of Belgian beer, and my dad and I go to a hacker conference at EuroDisney (of all places, right?). After the conference, we'll be meeting up again in Amsterdam where we get to spend a full week!

I am stoked!

My dad and I went to Europe for 3 weeks in 2009 (see photo) and it was an amazing experience. It's been far too long since I've been to Paris, my favorite city in the world, and I'm looking forward to returning to the place I called home for the shortest 10 months of my life, and this time I get to introduce my brother to la belle ville!

I don't know much about Amsterdam. We only spent 3 days there the last time, but I loved it. It might be the most beautiful city I've ever visited (shhhh! Don't tell Paris! I feel like I'm cheating on her when I say that!) and I can't wait to get to immerse myself and really get to know the streets and canals.

Now, I just have one week to organize and prep. New walking sandals? Check. Video equipment for the con? Check. European flatiron? Check. (Let's hope it still works. I bought it in 2005 and haven't used it since 2009...) Cameras, chargers, converters, check, check, check!
