Hello again

Well Amsertdam was Great. We finally had good weather both days we were there. It was sunny and warm, but very windy. When we first arrived we walked to Ludmillas house and got situated. After that we took the tram to the middle of the city and got lost. it was the best thing we could have done. We stumbled into some really great shops and areas. We found the red light district during the day this way. It was really a sight to see, much better at night, but the first impression is OMG! There are just girls in the windows shaking what they got, haha. hehe. It was funny, because not all the girls were young and pretty. Some were, lets say 70 and a bit large in the mid section. It was actually kinda funny to see. They were wearing way to much makeup and their hair was so big and frizzy. We were invited to a live sex show for a "good price." He said, " I let you guys in 15 Euros each." I told him we were not sure yet, but maybe later, so he told us no only now is the discount at 6 its 30 Euros each. We didnt go, but there were some intense pictures right out front showing what goes on inside.

After we found ourselves in the middle of town we sat down and grabbed a few beers. I had a really great white beer. It was Witsle or something like that. A cat came strolling up to us(there are stray cats all over, or maybe owned but they too stroll around) and we started to pet him. Ryan pet his back and the cat turned around and attacked his hand. Ryan thankfully pulled it away in time, but this cat was CRAZY! After our first beer we got a Hieneken, its balled Oiu Bruin, and it is HORRIBLE. Its like rootbeer just worse. No flavor of beer at all. It was a waiste of my 2.5 Euros. hehe. But a good expirience.

The next day we went to the Anne Frank Museum which was Great! It really felt like there were ghosts inside. It was kinda creepy walking through the ares in which they lived closed up for 3 years. We were standing in Anne's bedroom looking at the photos she posted on the walls. It was intense. But this was really cool to see. They lived in a hidden area in the office bulding behind a bookshelf that hid the stairs. It was really cool to go through it. We dont have many pictures though because both our cameras were low on batterey and mine died.

Next we were off to the Hieniken Factory, excuse my spelling of that, i have no idea how to spell Hieniken. This was fun too, it showed all the history of the brand and how it was created. They have a secret "A" Yeast they use that has been i use for over 100 years. So the beer always tastes the same no matter where you go. It was cool to see what they use. We tasted teh Barley, and smelled the Hops, now that i have tasted and smelled those flavors by themselves, i can pick it out in the beer and really understand the taste and color or Hieniken. They tought us how to taste, smell and look at the beer properly. We each got 3 complementary beers, which were good. We didnt go through an actual factory though as i thought we would. I thought we were going to see it bottled and all. But we saw it on film, so thats good too. It ended with the bar and gift shop where we could have 2 more beers and shop around. It was overall very fun to see it.

That night was the red light district night. It was fun and amazing to see. It is truely unlike anything else. The lights are beautiful on the streets, which are mainly filled with men. There were a few women here and there(women outside the windows i mean). The lights were really nice, because each window was outlined with redlights and sometimes black lights. The girls are in there trying to get men to come buy them, one girl was showing a bit to much, which made me think, why would u buy her if you can see it all here. hehe. There was one alley way where all of the women were actually men. They had breasts though, but you could see very plainly their uh.. downstairs. hehe. It was kinda weird. We went into a few sex shops, which had some bizarre items, bought some tee shirts, which are appropriate to wear anywhere, and had fun just strolling up and down the walk way. It was an interesting area and one we will never forget. We didnt even have to do the crazy stuff like sex shows, drugs or anything. Oh speaking of drugs, some guy ran into me and was Cocaine? he was trying to sell me some cocaine, weird huh? Ya i just kept on walking. heh.

Amsterdam was a fun place to go, and is great atmosphere to see. You all would love it. I liked all the littel streets the best.
