Here we go, I managed to get a single flight ticket to Malaysia, in Penang. Still no certainty about what will happen regarding the visa, but the decision to go is made.

My buddy arrived from the Uk and is staying here in Kathu from today, and another guy I know, is coming over from Vietnam..and I am not sure if I will see either of them because of the visa situation. My lady 'friend' is also a bit rattled by it all, although even she is feeling the strain of the differences in our cultures, and to be honest we could each do with a break for a while.
