Brisbane is a great place:) we were there for 4 nights and stayed at base backpackers:) when we arrived with the greyhound bus, we walked around for 30-40 minutes with our backpacks trying to find it, and arrived sweaty and smelly!;) Brisbane has some nice parks, nice people and a great atmosphere about it:) we sat in the park most of our first day, reading and enjoying the view over the water:) then we went to lobe pine koala sanctuary which was amazing!!!:D we fed the kangaroos, and cuddled with koalas, and then it started raining like crazy so we took shelter in the restaurant 'the sleepy koala' which was in fact full of trees with sleepy koalas:)
