It's finally begun... You guys no longer have to hear about our planning. dreaming and excitement no longer! Our trip from Meningie started very emotionally, saying good-bye to our families and friends. When we finally drove down the driveway at 11am (not to mention the very bouncy bikes on the back!!) we knew there was no turning back - Wow, the start of a new beginning, new journey, new experiences, new people and new places!

Our first 3 hour trip with a stop over at Beachport ran very smoothly with the Beer Songs CD being played very loud!! We arrived in Mount Gambier around 3.30pm and met our first family we were going to housesit for. We couldn't have got a lovelier family if we tried! Although we think we will be kept on our toes running and walking Ollie (goregous puppy). The house feels comfortable and is like a home away from home, thanks to Dean + Joy, we won't have any trouble living here for a week!
