Finally managed to catch up with your NZ pictures and it seems to be a very diverse country. Looks like a cross between parts of the UK and Canada. Some amazing pictures there and looking forward to the next lot.
Take care & enjoy,

Hi Peeps,
It has been really great to hear from you. We ditched the film crew after Asia, because they wanted more money in New Zealand and started talking about working hours and health and safety!!!
You are right NZ is a bit like home but with a bit of a North American influence. We spoke to an English lady and said isn't it like home, and she said 'yes, but you don't get boiling mud pools and steaming lakes by the side of the road at home', and we had to agree! love to you both A&E x

Hi Abby & Eric,
Were your ears burning last Tuesday, some of the Ware patients were asking how you were. I knew you would be having a FAB! time but wasn't sure where you were & where you've been. Laura gave me your blog details. It all looks totally amazing. I'd love to visit Vietnam, even though it looks like you're dicing with death on the roads. I sponsor a little boy in North Vietnam, called Trong, it's nice to see pictures of his country. I'll be seeing your mum in a couple of weeks time, so I'm sure she'll update me too. Well continue to have fun I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Jealous. Loving all the pictures.

Hi Guys
Just a line to say that we have been avidly following you via your blog since we returned home from Khatmandu - great stuff. Unbelievable that the HCMC traffic was worse than the traffic we saw in Delhi. We were pretty sold on a vist to NZ but I think your description has confirmed it - sounds just great
Keep up the great commentary & travel safely
Best

Hi Peeps, great to here from you, hopefully we will get some pictures of NZ on soon, there are some great birds here (of the feathered kind!), many we have seen are now very rare. A and E.

Hiya guys,
Just got email that you´re in New Zealand - wow! That´s half your trip done and half to go. You must be exhausted. Great pictures. Have you got a thing about mangy dogs? Not a lot is happening here, so look forward to seeing your pics and reading blogs - a bit of escapism.
Take care.
Hi Sis, I have managed to find some dogs in terrible states in every country we have been to, and ones in the pictures are the worst example for each country. Didn't find any in Vietnam, but we were not there long. The main reason they are treated so badly is because these countries see them as the lowest form of life, for a buddhist, being reincarnated as a dog is worse than coming back as a cockroach!
As a dog lover, you would find this upsetting.
Love you both loads.

Hi Abby & Eric
Jeff and I have now managed to read all your Blogs and look at your pictures - Nicky is away for the weekend so do not have to book an appointment for the computer!!!!!
It is certainly a Big Adventure - really interesting with great photos - you must still have lots more exciting tales to tell? We really look forward to your next instalment.

Hi A&E. That trek must have been something else. The pictures are fantastic and you must have been so elated sitting looking down into the valley. (Just like Wales!!!) The T shirt made me laugh and I've been watching News at Ten avidly now........ just in case. Looking forward to the next lots pictures. Each time they seem to get better. Now if you can just overlay a David Attenborough comentry.

Looks like you're having a great time. I've no idea what the little bird is on the floor in Delhi, but some of the others look like Indian Ring-necked and Plum-headed parakeets, Little Egret and White-breasted kingfisher. Seen any vultures yet? Looks like Eric has found his own sort of bird - on the back of an elephant too! Keep having fun.
Hi Paul; yes we did see some vultures, but too far away to photograph. Some other birds that we have seen include an indian roller, lots of long tailed shrikes, magpie robin, cormarants, a nightjar, a yellow bumed bulbul?, numerous birds of prey, hornbill and sunbirds.
