Er lige kommet hjem fra 3dage paa the Great barrier Reef, hvor vi saa the Whitsundays. Absolut VIDUNDERLIG tur. Kanon vejr, laekkert at sejle og sove under aaben stjernehimmel og selve snorkelturene var formidable! Helt ekstraordinaert. SAA flot! Er i Airlie Beach for endnu en nat, inden vi koerer i 11timer i moren mod Rainbow beach, hvor vi skal overnatte inden vi tager paa tur til Fraser Island. Endnu et spaendende eventyr venter!

Efter Cairns tog vi til Port Douglas, hvor der ikk skete det vilde, saa koerte videre nordpaa mod Cape Tribulation. Vi overnattede ved en service station, da vi skulle tanke og koebe lidt ind, inden vi om morgenen tog en faerge til den del, hvorpaa Cape Tribulation var. Det var et flot omraade med masser af regnskov (blev aedt op af myg og hestebremsere!). Flotte strande og flot natur generelt. Overnattede dog ikk, da vi mente vi havde set, hvad der var at se. Overnattede ved Murray Falls. Flot sted, men hestebremsere overalt!

Nu er vi saa i Airlie beach. Skoent sted. Meget afslappet. Vi overnattede 1.nat paa marinaens p-plads (blev flyttet af havnepatruljen, da vi holdt eulovligt sted - aabenbart). Naeste nat var vi checket in paa Magnum's hostel. Et super nice sted hvor vi havde vores eget lille mini traehus, 8-personers. Skal overnatte der igen i nat.
Saa tog vi til Whitsundays, som som sagt var ubeskriveligt flot! Helt fantastisk!

Just got back from a 3days trip to the Whitsundays on the greatBarrier Reef. Absolutely FANTASTIC! Awesome weather, nice sailing and sleeping under the open sky and beautiful stars, and the snorkelling was just amazing! Extraordinary! Am in irlie Beach now for one night before we leave tomorrow. Driving for 11hours to getto Rainbow Beach where We'll spent one night before going on a tour on Fraser Island. Another adventure awaits!

After Cairns we went to Port Douglas, but nothing there really so we drove on north, to Cape Tribulation. Stayed the night at a service station as wee needed fuel the next day. Took the ferry in the morning to Cape Trib. Nice area with lots of rainforrest (gopt eaten up my mossies and big flies). Nice beaches and beautiful nature in generel. Didn't stay the night, but went back south again. Stayed the night at Murray Falls. Once again being eaten up my flies!

So now we're in Airlie beach. Great place. Stayed our first night at the marina (got moved by the marina police as we were parked illegally apparently - no fine though!). Second night was on a hostel. Great place and an actual bed!
And then the Whitsundays which was as already said incrediable beautiful.
