3dage, 2naetter, 10 mennesker i 1 firhjulstraekker.
Saa Frosty er her igen :)

Landed in New Zealand today, but I'll get back to that later.
After The Whitsundays and a long day of driving we ended up in Rainbow Beach, where we checked in at Dingo's and then got divided into groups of 10 and were informed of our self-drive tour on Fraser Island. 3days, 2nights and 10 people in 1 4x4. Everyone 21 of age and above could drive, so everyone did, except britta and Vanessa who are only 19. It was awesome. The trip started on Dec.12th. We arrived on fraser and headed to Lake McKenzie, totally offroad driving. Really beautiful freshwater lake. Could have stayed there for hours, but we had to head back to the beach and find a place to camp before the tide came. Next morning we were gonna go to indian Head, see the wreck 'Maheno' and then maybe Eli Creek. On the way to Indian Head we unfortunately had to make a stop as a group of Japanese people had flipped around in their 4x4 and were now laying on the beach. Many people were there to help. We all came with towels for shade and water. One guy died while we were there, the other 7 were badly injured. Not so great of a start of the day. But we got through it by talking. And as we got to Indian Head the beautiful surroundings helped getting our minds and thoughts away from the accident. On the way back we saw 'Maheno' and some of us went to Eli Creek. Camped close to 'Maheno'. Next morning we hiked in to Lake Wabby. I was stupid enough to go without my flip-flops. Big f***ing mistake! The walk in was about 45minutes and the sand was so hot from the sun, and my feet got cut to s***. Have a big gap on my left heel.Dont remeber the last time I've felt so exhausted and hated myself. But lesson laerned - the hard way once again. We got back to Rainbow about noon and returned the cars. At night the group cooked together and hung out. We had a great trip, not to mention the goon every night, the open sky and the 'stars in the sand'. So awesome - amaazing! :)
After a week incl. the Whitsundays and Fraser we went to noosa where Britta had her hair done. Then we went to Brisbane and stayed the night at McPherson's. Bruce has been working on an old Ford A from 1930, and it is now ready for registration. So got a ride on the MC and in the Ford, so that was awesome! Also got some stuff done on Lily as she needed a little fix up here and there. Guess we got silly for bit, and now Lily has a few elevator-stickers on her :)
After a nice night and day in Wilston (Brisbane) we headed towards Sydney. Drove from 8pm-2am and got to Port MacQuarie. Efter 4 hours of sleep (oh yeah, and a speeding ticket - got that to add to the collection!) we drove the last 4 hours to Sydney. Stayed the night in the car, after being thrown out of the airport. Britta thought it would be a cool experience, so we tried to stay overnight in the airport, but no sleeping in the airport. Because of lack of time and a desk employer who didn't know s*** about visas, and thought mine was expired and therefore wouldnt let me check in, I missed my 8.30am flight to Auckland. Because of the Holidays everything is fully booked over the next days. So much my luck and so typically me! After coursing the whole thing, laughing a bit about it and then asking for a ticket anywhere to New Zealand, I got a ticket to Wellington, where I am now. Wellington is on the southern part of the Northern island, yup. about 400miles from Auckland. Tomorrow morning I'll take a bus to Auckland and then let's see what happens from there. btw, would have wished I had done some research about New Zealand before getting here. That way I would have known it's way colder here, actually half the temp. of Australia. And I haven't really brought anything warm, so guess that makes for a good shopping excuse :) Frosty is back!
