We spent about 9 days in Gibraltar in the end which was very pleasant. We met an English couple, John and Ange, and spent a few evenings with them as well as doing the Spirit of the Rock gin distillery after a long lunch one day which probably was not the best idea! Very nice gin and an excellent talk - very funny and informative with lots of sampling. We bought three bottles. Yes, Peter has taken up drinking again, but I have to say, in moderation!!

The trip from Gibraltar to Palma, Mallorca, was very uneventful. We are in the same marina as once before right in the middle of town. We are here for Lagoon to carry out some warranty work and get an engine service done. About three weeks in all. We flew Ivan and Chrissy home on day one - it was just not working out - a few irredemable issues and we are very happy with our descision. We had two girls on from one of the local boat management places for the day and got a very competant thorough clean done. (Read between the lines there) and we reorganised the galley and provisions (ditto between the lines).

Our bikes have been taken out and about and still are showing full charges - so, happy there. We've been messing around getting the passerelle (gang plank) strung up so we can lower and raise it like we did on CEB and a myriad of other boat odd jobs - as you do. The wether is lovely, people out and about everywhere and masks only indoors. No one is asking for vaccination certificicates here but we do sign in at restaurants as in Gibraltar although it is not so strictly observed. There are not people dropping in the streets like the Australian Government Advisory would have you imagine.
