Hey, so now I got to climb the jungel all the way up to penang hill yesterday! 3 days ago i took the cabel-car up there with Carsten and down again, yesterday I walked up there with another guy from the hostel, Andy,68 year old,fit guy, he told me he was going up there by foot, and I'd love to come, so we did together:)
We started our hike from the hostel at 0930 and took the bus to the bottom of the hill, from theree we started climing the 530 metres of a big hill trough the jungel, and it was beautiful!! we saw alot of beautiful butterflies, and wild monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The sun came in through the huge jungeltrees every now and then, and I just wondered,"Where's the angels"? I've never seen such beautiful forrest before. The animals and the insects were making this loud ,nice noises, like music in our ears all the way and the swet were just pooring because of the high air-wetness(is it called that in english?) Felt nice!! After about 2,5 hours we were at the top, and got to enjoy the beautiful sight over the city and the main land again, like I just did the other day aswell, but I think, U can never get tired of that beautiful sight:) after we had a coconut with coconut-juice we started our journey down the hill again, on the main road that most people use, on the jungel path we only met 3 others:) so we used about 1 hour down the hill and got to see alot of monkeys just passing us in the middle of the road, and I just stood ther looking at them, taking pictures and film, and one of them had a baby aswell, and it was just an amazing sight for me, WILD MONKEYS!!:) we ended the journey with Botanic garden on the bottom of the hill:) It was a beautiful big park with beautifl flowers, big trees, a river crossing and fontains, and ofcourse wild monkeys running around there aswell. JUST A GREAT DAY! We were back at the hostel 1630 so it got to be a long day with lots of good experiences and LOTS of walking! Felt goooood!!!
Today I took the bus to another part of the city and askes a local at the bus where I could find a dentist(I want to bleech my teeth) and ended up, him guiding me around in 2 very popular temples, with one of the 6 biggest laying buddhas in the world, and explanations with the tour aswell, so I made friends with a local from penang today, thats nice. we ended our day together tody with a good tasting glass of soya-milk which he treeted me:)hihi
Tomorrow the last day in malaysia will be at THE BEACH:):)
