Hey! We arrived in Singapore at about 9pm and went to our hotel. It is really posh! We went straight to bed coz we were exhausted from our days travelling! The beds are really comfy with nice white duvets! Luxury! The next day we went to the Science centre and had a look around. We also saw a dinosaur movie at the Imax theatre. Next we went to the bird park where we watched a birds of prey show and then realised how hot and humid it was in Singapore! We got the monorail around the park and got out to look at a few things. It was so hot! We got a taxi back to the hotel and went for a swim to cool down and then had dinner in the restaurant. It was a nice buffet and had lots of yummy desserts! We then went to the night safari which is a zoo only open at night. We watched the creatures of the night show which was really good and then went on a tram safari around the park. We stopped half way around to go on a walk and went into a bat enclosure! It was still 30 degrees despite being 11 at night! The next day we went to the train station ot book our tickets and then headed to Mt Faber to get the cable car to Sentosa island. We went on a luge ride which was a mixture between a go kart and a sledge and then came back up the hill on a chair lift. At the bottom we caught the tram to the Shangri-La resort and used their swimming pool (illegally) as we were soooo hot! Next we went to the Aquarium which wasn't great but it also included entry to the dolphin lagoon. Here we watched a show and then got to touch the dolphin and have a picture taken! We had another go on the luge and then went to the ferry port to have dinner. Before we left the island we went to see the Magical Fountain which was a water, light and laser show. We caught the cable car back. It was a very long day especially considering the heat! On Sunday we checked out of our hotel and then went to the Botanical Gardens where we went to the National Orchid Gardens - it was really pretty but soo hot and humid! We then got a taxi to Orchard road and went in some shops but despite the air conditioning our feet hurt so we had some lunch and then got a taxi to Raffles hotel! We had a Singapore Sling in the bar in the courtyard and then went in the museum to cool off! We went back to our hotel pool to cool off and kill some time before having dinner. We then went to the train station to catch our train to Kuala Lumpur. We had to go through immigration and then find our cabin. We had a first class cabin so had it all to our selves with a shower and toilet of our own. Ems and Steve xxx
