Today I....
Ate a really yummy breakfast
Saddled up sky a quarter horse how's dark grey and loaded her into the stock trailer with 5 other horses. Then jumped in dons truck to go over to the valley were the cows are.
When we got there we put pack bags on the horses with lunch and brought coats incase it got cold when we were In the valley.
All 9 of us went out to find the cows witch was ment to take a very long time but only took like 10 mins so they counted the cows and we figured we may as well keep going down the valley and maybe find the horses that were out there and have our lunch.
So we went along the Fraser river until we got to the trailer were we had lunch and unsaddled some of the horses. Devenne Went out and found the horses and there were some white mares and 14 two year olds that are getting started this fall they were really friendly for horses that had been in the valley for a while
Then we went back to the horse trailers and moved the cows into avoid sized pen with grass for the night.
Loaded up the horse and came home.
I had dinner and now I'm going to bed.

Joan Fraser What an action filled day a roundup sounds just wonderful. Horses out there too and friendly to boot . The only roundup I remember here was when cattle led by a horse got through a fence and into the valley. Took them days to round up maybe into a week through all that valley terrain. Yemmy breakfast too Yummmm. Post should be five star made a mistake in pressing it and couldn't change it
mom That was a five star day! Isn't the Fraser River georgeous? Sky sounds like she was a nice horse. Love the photo you posted too! Living the dream, work hard, play hard, live well :)
Kate Sounds very exciting Emma. I can only imagine the scenery for now but you have inspired me to get busy here too with my herd, and make some plans for a vacation in that direction soon. I used to play cowgirl with my Dad's dairy herd, until he caught me that is. Herding cattle is fun. You go girl !!!!
