After a 12hr flight, which I thankfully slept through, we arrived in Hong Kong to beautiful, albeit hot, weather! Clearing the group through passport control and baggage claim was erlatively painless before we were hearded onto ur bus for the 40min journey to Kowloon where we were to spen the next 3 nights at Eaton Hotel. We had a quick meet and greet with our tour reps before getting literally a 5min showere and refrehs before we hosted our group drinks ad informal meet - needless to say, the 2 Tsing Tao's I had, combined with jet lag and excitement went straight to my head! Nomes and I had a quick noodle dinner and wander down Nathan Rd before calling it a night.
Today we woke early to embark on our 1/2day tour - started with the Peak Tram to Victoria Peak, great view, shame about the haze! We then went on a Sampan in Aberdeen fishing village (water much cleaner than teh Thames!) ad a quick scoot around Stanley Market. Fried rice for lunch then a quick nap!
Went on a harbour cruise and saw the 'Symphony of Lights' at 8pm, it was fantastic - a techni-light show off all the buildings in Hong Kong playing to the tune of music - very cool!

Today was our free day - I only got to bed at 4am and then slept through til past 10, so lost a bit of time there! Spent the day following our noses around Hong Kong Island - took the Star Ferry across the Harbour and then mooched around town - took the longest outdoor elevator in the world (800m!), wandered along Hollywood Street , checked out the antique markets and even took a tram! Ended the day with dinner and drinks atop the IFC building overlooking the Harbour and this time took in the light show from ashore.
