Got up this morning to wave Carina off to school, and found her still asleep at tghe time she was supposed to be there. Perfect haha.

Once she had gone of Magdalen and I went to do some shopping before i flew to the Gold Coast and she very kindly bought me some lovely new clothes for my birthday. Woohoo!

I then went to the airport and flew to Coolangatta airport where i was met by a very cheerful Marg. We went to one of the local surf life saving clubs for a coffee and had a catch up which wa lovely, before heading back to her house. It's in a beautiful place, near the beach but in the hills where there's so much wildlife and it's so peaceful. There i met her partner Nev and a colleague and friend, Sonia. We found an issue with some bees which i'll expand on later and had a glass of champagne on the deck before my godmother considered it her duty at i learn to cook paella, so we had a lesson together fron sonia and it was delicious!

I also learned that her favourite tv show is the aussie x factor so we wqtched that and i'm nowashamed to say im quite hooked. Oops.
