Had abit of a panic the other day! my bus to airlie beach got cancel because of the flooding, our plan was to hitch hike to rockhampton and get on a bus from there, but luckily we managed to get on a later bus which meant i was late to check in on my boat to the whitsundays but just made it in time! the boat was a small sail boat called spank me! met some really nice people on there. Did lots of snorkling in the day along the reef and lots of goon drinking in the evenings. when to whitehaven bay where the sand is so fine you can exfoliate with it and use it to polish your teeth and jewelery. i never thought i would be putting sand in my mouth on purpose but it actually really worked! had to wear stinger suits then whole time though as there was looooads of jelly fish! there were hundereds of fish and i even saw a turtle lots of sting rays. the weather wasnt great had a couple of showers, mostly during the night and it all came in the hatches we left open for air so we woke up in the mornings soaking! had a big night out last night with everyone that had been on the boat got free jugs of beer at the bar and watched jelly wrestling! (wanted to join in but we were too late to sign up!). just hanging around today, got another night bus tonight to cairns, hopefully will be fun since theres a big group of us on it!
