Hello so heres whats been happening....
Full Moon Party.... ok so the rain managed to hold luckily for the night and everyone from our bungalows got a taxi down into town and to the beach. It was amazing, buckets, mushroom shakes (although we didn't have any because they were far too much of a rip off for us, 500 bahts for one when you could get 3 buckets for that i dont think so!!!), fire dancers, uv paint. Was so cool just thousands of people dancing on the beach until sun rise. So needless to say slept all next day.
After the party we considered getting train to Kuala Lumper but since it was going to take 2 solid days we opted for the slightly more stylish option of flying and it was only 40 quid for 2 flights. Got 1st flight from Koh Samui to Phuket, this was nice. Now anyone who knows me knows how much i like a freebie so when we arrived in the lounge and I discovered free internet, magazines food and drink I was in my element! Made at least 3 trips to 'courtesy corner' managing to scoff an impressive amount of crap i didn't want and all this despite it was only 6am... nice work! Next flight from Phuket to Kuala Lumper was good also but no freebies boo!
So here we are in Kuala Lumper. Last night were shattered so treated ourself to an hotel with hot showers, en suite, air con etc (was still only 12 quid per room mind!). It was in Chinatown was a bit mad and very much like Bangkok (although they had Nandos yeah!). So this morning we have moved to the 'Golden Triangle'. This is a much better area, hard rock cafe, twin towers etc all near by but the best bit is the shopping centre round the corner. Man we love this place, have just wasted about 20 hours of our lives in there! Is on 10 massive floors and is very cool and modern (but also cheap). It also has a theme park (and no its not the metro centre) so we spent hours in there riding the rollercoaster but then went on this ride that i wasn't really feeling and decided to leave as we almost died (slight exageration but really hurt, obviously not designed for the western body, just skinny little things can take the pressure of the bars!!!!). We ate dinner in the food court (mmmmm) and then went to the cinema to see James Bond ha ha. So we officially love Kuala Lumper... except the rain, is moonsoon season everywhere we go lately boo hoo
Oh well more shopping centres to explore xxxx
