Day one of our holiday was great. We started the day with a great breakfast and explored our resort grounds. We then went for a walk across the road (which ended up being across the road, across a bridge and to the other side of a little island) I'm not complaining though it was well worth the trek. Pristine crystal clear beaches where the fish would swim around your feet, amazing!

That night we went to dinner and there was a traditional Fijian dance show. They got Michael up to dance with the rest of the men which was great. They then got the women up to dance. It would usually take a lot of convincing for me to get up and dance but I thought I'm in Fiji, I should get up and experience things that I might never get to do again. So I got up and danced :-) .

I keep grouping Bali and Fiji together, but really and truley Fiji is much better, the people are nicer, the country is cleaner and I don't feel like everyone is trying to rip me off. What a great start to our trip!
