Got to be honest - I have only just got around to having a look at your journal but glad I have. It makes fantastic reading!!! Hope you really do continue to enjoy the whole experience - although I am still struggling with the whole idea of you being left in charge of children!!!! ENJOY!!!

Oh Em, I envy you! You are going to have the most amazing experience of your life!!!! I know what you mean about dealing with the emotions - the first time I had ever left home was to come to the UK - for one year, yeah right. That was 15 years ago!! And I felt the same. It will hit you when you're on your way, but don't let it stop you from having fun. What an experience having all those little Chinese kids hovering around you, showering you with warmth, friendship and love.
I really hope that you have an amazing time and will certainly look forward to your entertaining updates on your blog. Keep in touch and perhaps one day we'll meet up again at ............ Simple Simon's/Bistro Vietnam, or wherever.
