We arrived at Kuala Lumpur after a 17 hr journey and couldn't wait to see the sights so we checked in and went to have a look around. Had a lovely meal down Jalan Alor where there are lots of street vendors and we were entertained by the Malay's busking in the street (great version of Jame's Blunt's beautiful). Then we headed back to our hotel,(Swiss Garden Hotel) for a good night's sleep after being so jetlag from entering 3 different timezones. We were awoken around 9am to sounds of drilling and banging which was pure annoying to say the least. Jonjo got on the phone to reception to complain as it didn't state renovations on their website but we found the funny side to it after recovering from jetlag. (Something always happens to us)

So far we have visited Menara Tower, Petronas Twin Towers which is unbelievable, Chinatown, Little India, Medeka Square (National Museum), Tallest flagpole in the world (geeks or what). We have also been around some of the amazing shopping Mall's KL has to offer (Shoppers Paradise) and had a lovely meal at Planet Hollywood. We are currently staying in the Citrus Hotel which is cheap and very chic for the price anyway.

We are slowly getting back into our travels and are heading to Penang tomorrow to spend a week there before heading back to KL to do more sightseeing beofre heading to Bali on 11th November.
