Tuesday 3pm Left Te Anau at 7am on Sunday morning, bus down to Invercargill, then 10.30 got a scenic shuttle around the Catlins area up to Dunedin. Was a really nice day, but long. The trip was a bit of a wildlife one, saw Sea Lions, Seals and the really rare yellow eyed penguins, had to sit in a hut for nearly half an hour waiting for them to come in from the sea, felt like a bird watcher! Saturday 7.30 pm Now in Te Anau, a couple of hours from Queenstown. Did a day trip to Milford Sound today, meant to be the number 1 thing to do here, unfortuantly the weather wasn't good for it. Tuesday 7pm Now in Nelson, stayed here last night and tonight so could do the day trip to Abel Tasman National Park, got picked up at 7 this morning, then a bus to the Park, then a hour and half boat trip, they then dropped us off on a beach and we had to walk the 11km back, not sure how many miles that is, glad i did it, it took us just over 4 hours to get back, weather was good for walking, starting raining just as we got near the end. 3PM Thursday Arrived in Auckland half 4 yesterday, flight was good, only 2 and half hours, i'm not used to them so short, Air New Zealand this time, not Mr Branson, main thing i noticed is that they use cabin crew that are older.
