Hi!! Made it to Queenstown after a detour into a place called Puzzling World, where our darling Mr Atle tried to get us all lost (and then ditch us!) in the ginormous 2 storey maze! The fact that we cheated even getting INTO the maze didnt bode well for trying to get out again...and the heckling maintenance man who had caught us and watched our progress from his ladder definitely made it more intense an experience!Anywho, after a good 20 minutes of running about ...

We went to Wanaka via the Bushmans cafe. Now this cafe is apparently famous for their possum pies but alas we did not try one! Shocking that eh!Instead we sat in the museum bit and watched a fil-m about deer catching in New Zealand. They basically jump out of helicopters onto a deers back and the hook him up to the chopper and fly away! All this was shown to the backing music of Dangerzone which gave everyone a Top Gun giggle! (No playing with the boys though!)Af...

SKY DIVE DAY SKY DIVE DAY!! Well...our day started at about half 5 and we werent really expecting to be able to do the dive. The clouds were covering the mountains around the hostel and the forecast wasnt the best! Anywho, the woman turned up at 6 oclock and said that we wouldnt be able to dive then. Today we left Nelson (whey!) and travelled to Westport. The towns we visit seem to be getting smaller and wetter again...actually I'm not convinced that there is actually even a town in Westport! But more of that in a mo! On the way we stopped off at Nelson Lakes which was just stunning. Its like a giant still lake in the middle of a green valley, the water is so still its like glass - and so peaceful...oh and tons of baby ducks! Whoopwhoop! When we arrive...

Left Picton feeling very sleepy and started on the way to Nelson stopping off at a winery on the way. Never have 2 words provoked such joy in Emjo, and Atle/Janni than these.... FREE WINE. Lordy did they enjoy themselves! Good thing that the measures were small but they had fun anyway! Anywho, carried on to Nelson and once again Janni and Atle begged to be in a room with us again and we adopted a KateFish aswell...which was nice. The hostel was kind of hotel like...
