Hello to all! apologies for the abrupt ending of the last entry ... computer logged me out doh! So today (well is actually meant to be the 3rd) we made our way to Honolulu airport for our flight to the Big Island of Hawaii... very short flight only about 40 mins in total (though we kinda wished it was a tad longer so we could get some shut-eye hehe :)) but we got to see the other islands (Maui etc) from the plane which was really kewl! First port of call on our Big Island adventure is Hilo; apparently the wettest place in Hawaii (it does rain even in Hawaii hehe... we got used to the odd 15 minute downpours in Honolulu) but here they weren't leading us up the garden path ... its very rainy but still pretty hot!

So when we got to Hilo we went to the car rental place to pick up our Economy car to explore the island with (transport isn't so great here ... so they recommend you to hire a car) ... so here is us thinking we will have some white grey import shipped in from Maylasia or something for our wheels when the guy said ... "Hey, have got a surprise for you girls" so then we are thinking oh must be some brightly colour pink car or such like ... when he pointed at a red convertible Mustang (yes, u heard right peeps we have a Mustang for our "Economy" car lol)... to say we were surprised was an understatement (photos coming soon)! We thought it was some kind of joke at first until he handed the keys to me (eeek! hehe all good ... just takes a bit of getting used to thats all!). Booked in our hostel, which is very nice & good to catch up on some sleep (we needed it after the events of the past few days)

So trying to figure out a plan of action for the next few days whilst we're here ... but hopefully going to see the Volcano 2moro ... which we are all dead excited about (yey ... how often do u get to see an actual erupting Volcano :) )
