Soooooooo, where was i? done the night safari in singapore, wasn't very good to be honest with you. it took 7 hours all in all and could have been squeezed into on EASILY. just a lot of waiting around. not only that though, you could barely see the animals, obviusly because its dark. unless the animals happened to be under the spot light you couldnt really see them, well apart from the rhinos, elephants etc, they were pretty hard to miss. nat even fell asleep on the safari.lol says it all really. so yeah, went back to the room and went to sleep. ooo, and had a maccas. day two and already had one. bad i know! monday, we got up early and headed to the airport- another good flight with a delicious feast like ice cream. got here and bought a phone card, got the train to new town and then walked to our hostel. having serious problems with my backpack though, im not even joking when i say its backbreaking to carry. i kept huffing and puffing!! legs were a bending and EVERYTHING. think nat thought i was a weirdo- and she wouldnt be wrong. so anyway, getting to the juicy bits now, came up to our room and there was like 12 people sitting in a circle drinking wine out a box. INTIMIDATING. lol, me and nat found our beds, dropped our backpack and made a run for it to the nearest bar to let the drinking commence in order to pluck up the courage to go back. it rained and rained and we were both like drowned rats by the time we found somewhere to have a beverage. anyway, done the trick because we moved to the next bar (im not wearing any makeup btw- CRINGE) got drining in there, chatted to loads of people. irish man who blatently wasnt irish. sounded like steven bloody hawkins, he wouldnt have it though! so spoke to a security guard and although looking back we probly shouldnt have he took us up to the top of the building he works at and showed us the city. AMAZING view, had a pool and everything. lots of places like london though. thieves stealing out landmarks i say! strolled on back to our rooms and spoke to everyone in there. turned out to be really nice people actually. slept like a log which is always nice.

so, bringing you up the the current day, today we got up, had a shower and booked another night, had to move to another room but thats not so bad although im in a tp bunk on this one and everytime i get in it which is hard enough as it is, it squeeks with pain. slightly embarressing. not the best of days today weather wise, been a little chilly so decided today to go and have a look at the sydney bridge and opera house which were both nice then took a ride round (lazy i know) the botanical gardens which were pretty and interesting. lots of fruit bats which ive never seen before. stopped for a little drink and then took the ferry across to manly. but course because the weather hasnt been nice we didnt stop long. came home and now im here writing to you bunch. plans tonight is to go out for dinner- were thinking nandos then take a wander round, maybe go to the lookout tower thingy. cant drink again tonight- so so so expensive. mind you, it is the city i suppose. anyway, if its a bit overcast tomorrow we're going to go to the blue mountains, if its nice we think we'll do bondi beach. will let you know anyway. speak soon
