Okay. A few things to say this time, but nothing particularly exciting!

My computer in the flat keeps getting viruses (they keep coming to fix them, but never actually put a firewall on the computer!) so if i'm not in touch much, that's why. Secondly, me and joe have split up. It's between me and him, but i thought that some of you might want to know. Thirdly, i'm almost certainly not coming back until June! I should be talking to someone about getting a job in a private school here in the next few days, teaching little ones in the evenings.

So this is my big news! We've been really busy lately (as usual). Had a few other gappers come down to visit us (and they all love our town!) which has been really cool. Went down to Xishuangbanna, which was gorgeous- hot and beautiful, like thailand or something. The only issue was the bus journey back, which should have taken 10 hours, but ended up being about 16- the bus broke down, was push started, broke down again, stopped in the middle of nowhere at 2am, waited for another bus to come, and as i was getting off i found a chicken bone in my bed. with meat still on it. lovely.

life here's just plodding on now really. it feels like i've been here forever. i think im in a bit of a down mood now actually, so not the best time to be blogging. Am getting absolutely sick of my students not volunteering responses and teaching them something one week only for it to be entirely forgotten the week after... i've developed so much sympathy for my old teachers!

i will try to give you all something chirpier and longer during the week. Hope everyones well. By the way, i taught all my students 'ay up' last week, and it was one of the cutest things i've done with them yet! Love to you all. xxx
