Wow my first blog, so cool!
So hey guys, I just wanted to start off my very first blog in my hometown of Wolfville, Nova Scotia! I am five weeks away from starting the experience of a lifetime and I am beyond excited and can hardly wait! Alot of my friends are going to Europe tonight actually, and the excitment I feel for them makes me wonder how excited I'll be when its my turn to go to Switzerland for a whole year!
For those just reading this and wondering what the heck I'm talking about, I am going on Aug 11 from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, to live in Zurich, Switzreland for a whole year on a Rotary Youth Exchange! Its so exciting eh? :) My sending district is the Rotary club of New Minas Sunrise, and I'm so grateful for them, they've awarded me an amazing oppourtinity and I hope I can do a really good job in representing them in Switzerland next year! My host club is the Rotary club of Zurich-Oberland, which is in the South of Zurich in Wetzikon. I can hardly wait to put my feet on European soil in five weeks from Thursday, the thought makes me feel so happy and excited! Meeting the other students is going to be awesome and getting to live in Switzerland is going to be amazing, and I get to learn German too, how lucky am I? :)
Well I think thats enough for today, I'll write back before I leave for Switzerland once more maybe and then you'll get to read my other blogs from SWITZERLAND!!!! Awhhhh thats so insane to write, makes me very happy!! :):)
