after taupo we left for river valley. on the way we did a walk up mt doom in lor od the rings which was cool and the scenery wwas just stunning! we arrived at a waterfall were we sat and ate lunch. the walk was part of the toronga crossing whcih was a big 8 hour walk up the volcano that the guys had done the day before. singing the lord of the rings theme tune had caught on aswell which is now a running theme on the bus. i walked back with rob and had a nice chat with him.

after the walk got back on the bus and drove to river valley. had dinner, alot of people had the roast dinner that the hostel cooked and looked amsing but me n alex made our own food. i thne got in the hot tub with mel, amy and zoe. joey and dan also joined us as they had been in on the hour before us and just didnt get out. was a really funny nihgt. the hot tub was rubbish, not very warm and no bubbles! but the guys made me laugh so much. mel spent the night makin up stupid raps about peach mosisturiser! the hostel we were stayin at was abit mental really! was just like a house in the middle of no where and the doprm rooms were all one big bed! like the size of a bus and in 2 bunks whcih was a laugh, although not when i kept gettin woken up by people singin the lotr them tune! still funny tho. played cards that night and just chilled out.

next morning, sunday, was alexs bday! we got her 2 cards one from me n kady and one from the bus, was a ngihtmare tryin to find time for everyone 2 sign it and buyin it! but we managed it, had breakie and then gave them her. her bday prsesnt was money towards the sky dive.

we then joined the lads for golf! werent bothered about doin white water raftin whcih everyone else was so we were the boys cadys and alex kept score. we did have a go on 1 hoel tho. all pretty rubbish at it thoguh, thwe boys werent much better. the weather wa amaisn for the first time in ages whcih was ace too. had a nice lunch that the hsitel made and waited for the guys to get back form white water raftin. had to then unfortunatley get back on thwe bus and had a very long drive to wellingotn, got stuck in lots of traffic and didnt arrive until 830 at night whcih sucked!

i raced off to buy a cake while the guys got pizza. we all ate in the kitcehn and then got dolled up for a big night out to celebrate! had a really fun night, got alex very drunk on a horrible dirty pint, gawve her the cake whcih she didnt have a clue about. said goodbye to all teh gusy as tehy left as it was teh last time wed be on the bus with most of them. we stauyed out late and then upto the s***el for bed. stupid us forgot the cake tho and i wen tot get it in the mornin but it was locked up so no one even got to try ti, except probably the bar staff! i got up early and packed for leaving, knocked on the other 2s door 15mins before we had to leave and they werent even awake! so i wemt down and checked out and waited for them wjhile they ran around gettin ready.

caught the ferry down to teh south island, slept for most of it. got picked up at the port by our new bus na driver, cheese. really wierd not bein on a bus with the guys from the north islandmiss tehm alot as tehy were alot of fun but weve still got a small group from the old bus, chloe, steph, amy, anna, kate and angie!
