Day Uno
I fly into the airport super early. This is the smallest airport I've seen. My family is about 45 minutes behind me so I decide to walk outside and pick up a taxi. Immediately, I notice what a small secluded town this is. Right when we pull out of the airport we are right along the water. The beaches are not popluated and are actually man made. I tell the driver I don't care where he takes me just somewhere I can tell my family. This excites me as I am entering a city for the first time, not knowing where I am. He drops me off at what at first seems like a dead district. I now know it as the old historic water district. I went right into a store and was in awe by the beautiful rings. I picked a sliver one with a white stone. I walked out and followed the water line. As I continued to walk the streets become more and more populated. Soon I realized he dropped me off at the beginning of the party. I started noticing tons of places I had been told to stop at such as sloppy joes, pie co, and Irish Kevin's. My dad called and I met them at sloppy joes. We started with a key west beer. It was light and good. Next we went to bagatelle. We split a lobster grilled cheese and a crab cake Benedict. We also got another key west beer. This food was okay it was pretty bland. Next Cheryl and I went to dantes which was a cool pool bar. We got mojitos. This was definitely the place to go for a party. We went to the condo and met up with grammy and papa Tim. We went by the pool cooked burgers and made drinks. Once all together we went out to look at the sunset. We went to sunset pier and had to pay $20 for parking. There was music but the sunset was not as good as st Pete. Then we went and got a pie from key lime pie co. Last we stopped for a drink
