Just a quick hello! I am settling in, and hopefully getting over the jetlag although I am still pretty tired. Went out for a walk this mornign down the beach, it is truly beautiful! I cant believe how lucky I am to be here! Think later I'm goign to walk up the Mount, it looks a trek but the views will be worth it.

Already managed to burn yesterday, not bad but have slapped on the suncream today, factor 30, dont worry! Its hot,but the wind makes it a bit chillier which makes you think you're not burning. Summer is going to be hot if this is only October!! xx

p.s. Also seeing as I could'nt say it before I came if anyone is interested its Mount 'Mong' (as in 'mong'oose), 'a' as in c'a't, noo, ee (as in b'ee'). so Mount Mong, a, noo, ee. Mount Maunganui!!
