Rise and shine! Another early morning, especially for Emelie who told Carro she would skype with her sister 6am. But what she really would do was to get a rose, some chocolate and a card she had hidden in Kristas room and put it on the bed from Carros boyfriend.
It was a success!
After that we all went for breakfast and took a cable car to the piers, to pier 33, where the ferries to Alcatraz goes. We had a quick walk around the island before we walked up to the prison and walked an audio tour among the halls and rooms while some prisoners and officers told us how it used to work. Really interesting but at the same time scary and unpleasant.
We took the ferry back and went for some food. Found some really nice food stalls at fisherman wharf. Krista went for some interesting dinner; a bowl of bread with some soup in it. Seemed nice! Also known as clam chowder.
Something else was interesting in Carros food, the seagulls! A whole pack dived for her poor take a way box, her fried calamaris. Weird animals, get your on food. Today's lesson = they are dangerous!
After this "lovely" meal we all walked to the famous pier 39. It was so cosy! A wooden pier with shops along each sides all the way out to the water.
We took a cable car back to the square where Krista joined some people for cheesecake while Emelie and Carro took a look around town before we meet up at the hotel. It's just been a chilled evening.
