What a day! The longest of our lives, literally! We spent our last day in New Zealand skyping and watching rubbish shows on tv. Our shuttle picked us up at 5.30pm and drove us to the airport.
Everything went smoothly, we had a bite to eat, then went through security. Krista had to drink half her bottle of water, no liquids allowed through. We boarded the plane and flew the short journey to Auckland (1 hour). They had a quiz on the screens that kept us occupied. Can't say we were that good though.. Only knew some of the ones that had absolutely nothing to do with New Zealand!
When we arrived we only had to go through security again, where again Krista had to drink half a litre of water and Emelie just under a litre, and go to our gate, our bags were already redirected to L.A. There were a lot of people on our flight, so we had to wait for everyone else to get on first.
The flight was enjoyable, food (obviously a good start) loads of films, tv and music and these special flight chairs. You could pull up a foot rest that went all the way up, level with the seat so you could use it as a bed, very practical. But there wasn't a lot of room and a bit of turbulence so we didn't sleep for very long. Good thing we had movies to entertain us. The iron lady, one day, a single man, tintin and the good wife are a few of the films and series we saw.
Nearing our destination we got breakfast, lovely! Happy and full, we got off the plane at about 12.50pm 2/2. But passport control took for ever! Even though there weren't that many people it took ages anyway. When they checked ours there were no problems thankfully.
We asked about a shuttle at the information desk and the man, think his name was Larry, sorted it out for us. So 15min later our shuttle came and dropped us off at the hotel. You're supposed to tip in America but we didn't have any change, just big bills, so the poor driver didn't get anything from us...
We checked in and went to our room, feels great to have a hotel room, two beds and a toilet, not 16 beds and a communal toilet down the hall. We both had a hot bath and relax before going to "el pollo loca" for a burrito and nachos, yum!
Back at the hotel we waited for Emelies friend Carolines arrival, which wasn't long at all! She surprised us by knocking on our door at 8.45pm. So welcome Carro to our little travelling band! The last leg of our trip is gonna be great! :D

Larissa Can I spmily say what a reduction to find somebody who actually is aware of what theyre talking about on the internet. You undoubted know find out how to convey an issue to gentle and make it important. Extra individuals need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant imagine youre not more common because you positively have the gift.Regards Dennis
