24/03 Arrived at 11.30am in Shanghai after a 17 hour train journey. We have done lots of sightseeing, shopping and drinking.

17/03 Went to Forbidden city and Tiananmen square - both very impressive and a Starbucks inside and we are are definitely templed out!!Just a note the chinese spit constantly which is disgusting!We all went out to the bar street area of Beijing to celebrate St Paddy's night. Arrived finally via Dubai absolutely knackered having taken 17 hours to get there.First meals in China were french and a Starbucks (really sampling the culture!)Meet with tour group and had our first proper Chinese meal. Good group so far.
