23rd- 28th june

wow, ok so after la spezia we caught the bus to beautiful nice, driving past the stunning monnnico. found out to apply for a house here you have to put down a 1 000 000 euro deposit and you dont get it back if your access was denied. michael jackson and madonna applied to live here and they both dot denied, how funny. we arrived at our hostel pretty late, just enough time to run to the supermarket and pick up some stuff for dinner. hooray for a kitchen at our hostel.

the next day we went ton a cruise on a massive boat to st tropez, aka millionairs bay. where all the famous ppl live, like the owners or hinekin beer and some other rich folk. the cruise was just amazing, breathtaking, and plus there was a free bar on the boat, catpatins famous rum punch yum yum. pic nic on the beach with newly found friends and a long bus ride back to nice. what a stunning day and definatly stoked about doing something different to just walking around main streets and window shopping..

the next couple of days were spend just chillaxing and resting because we have just been going full on for nearly 2 months, need to give our brains and livers a rest. did some heavey duty booking of hostels on the free internet there and loved just really getting into my book. the shopping here is all pretty close and cheap so loved that i could just walk out of the hostel onto the main shopping mall. also did sone necessary hand washing.

after deciding we wanted to stay an extra 2 nights at the hostel, tried to talk to the receptionist and asked him to exten, he said there were no beds, starting to stress out, we found more accomadation at the same place but for a private room, booked that not knowing you had to book the whole room at 7oeuro a night, aaggggghhhhhh didnt mean to spend that much on a couple of nights sleep, but that was out first private room we have had in 2 months and it was great just throwing all of my belongings anywhere i wanted.

met some local and made some more new friends down the beach of nice, shared stories and laughs for the long part of the night. stacey and i shared 4 bottles of french red between us and we pretty much had to get carried to bed. what a night that was. thank god we have another day of resting and relaxing before we got back onto the bus for our next adventure. BARCELONA!!!
