Today we went on a boat trip which was a suprise from dad for moms birthday which, yes it's still going on and for his tommorow! It was fab! We had the massive boat to ourselves which usually they put 30 people on. However the waves we're massive and we got bounced around a lot but we made it to the first stop, a bay for snorkelling which was beautiful has massive limestone cliffs and crystal blue waters and loads of fish! Watching mom trying to snorkel was deffinatly the best part though hahaha! After snorkelling we then headed to lonley island where there we're hundreds of wild monkeys and we threw bananas from the boat and they caught them! It was so funny some even jumped in the water and swam to get them! Very funny. Next was our stop a PhiPhiisland for some lunch- nothing posh just bamboo chairs and some Thai food, very nice. We had a quick look around the island which reminded me of Koh Toa and was very backpacker-ish, I loved it! Then when everyone was queuing to get back on there boat packed with people we just strode up and jumped on our private one- it felt good to not have to be like everyone else for once as we usually would be in the queue! On the way back we headed to another tiny island with a little beach where we snorkelled again and jumped off the boat and had some fruit and a beer in the sun.... before heading back across the bumpy waves to Phuket. Mom loved every second of being thrown around as you can imagine (NOT) Atleast she did try and get in the spirit by shouting 'life on the ocean wave' at one point when she was mid flying off her seat- to mine and dads very much amusement! What a fab day, I could get used to all this private boat stuff- maybe a trip to Denia when we get back Darren? Haha:-)
