Happy fourth of July to all my America friends, who I could probably count on one hand and probably aren't reading this anyway.
Anyway this blog is my last one for Europe as I leave for the airport in about an hour and a half, I won't be writing much so i'll leave a big gap in the middle for you to fill in my adventures of the last couple of days yourself. I recommend adding in dragons, a hot babe and Morgan Freeman. Note: one of these can be all three.
In fact whilst your at it why not pretend he's reading it to you. I also suggest Samuel L Jackson, James Earl Jones and Fran Drescher.
And now you can't get her voice out of your head.
Anyway I visited the Deutches museum on my last day in Germany. I thought the Louvre was big but this is so much bigger, and so much more interesting I have a lot of photos so I won't go into to too much detail about it, ask me later. But I found a really beautiful musical instruments exhibit and found myself stating at each individual instrument and try to imagine what kind of sound it made.
Plane trip home was interesting problems with the bus not coming to pick half the passengers up to take us to the plane. (I was in that half) and the bus finally came about 10 minutes before the plane was supposed to take off.
Landed in London fine and that was that for Monday.
Yesterday I didn't do much during the day, went for a pub lunch with lela and rich and had an awesome steak for lunch.
Now the gap for Create Your Own Elliott's Adventure
....and that's how Scarlett Johansson and I saved Morgan Freeman from the Dragon.
Last night went to another comedy show it was the same troupe from Thursday night, Vinegar Knickers. They're off to edinborough festival next month and if they ever make it to Australia I recommend them. the other group that performed was Horse & Louis who are similar to Flight of the Concord and even have a song about how they're not Flight of the Concord even though they kind of look like them.
Was good to hang out with Lauren again, it's always a better trip when you're hanging out with friends.
Today didn't do much either. Packed everything up in the morning then jumped on a train and spent a few hours at the british museum. (I think I'm all antiqued out right now) it's a very pretty museum and the main exhibit that stuck out was the horse exhibit, which was about the use of horses throughout history and the mummies but that's nothing I haven't seen before.
The cover photo is from the money exhibit and it's a spiral consisting of one minted currency coin from every country in the world. (the Australian one is a 1 dollar coin.
However that's it from me currently I'll continue the blog in Vietnam, hopefully I'll be able to get Internet access at the hotel to upload them. If I can't I'll still write them but I'll have to post them when I get home or something.
I'll also do a bit of summary blog when I get back as well but I'll keep you posted.
A la prochaine
