Yesterday was a simple day went for a brief stroll down king street with lela for a spot coffee and a spot of lunch.
Also attempted to find another pair of shoes since they're so cheap here compared to back home. Plus i can get the tax back here for spendings. However, it's difficult to find shoes my size I'm a 12 uk and most places only stock to an 11.
Whilst in London it'd be worth going to at least a few galleries and museums. So I did the Victoria and Albert museum yesterday, very cool place a tried to do as much of the more obscure wings like the fashion and the architecture and the glass wings.
Whilst in the the glass wing I had a run-in like the day before. If I had said that Jamie would be the most least likely person I'd think I'd see then this tops it. I bumped into Ann-Marie who is a mum I used to serve at the deli every Tuesday Arvo. She spotted me first and said "that's impossible!" I was just as shocked as she was.
I mean I know I has to be possible to bump into people you know whilst travelling but two in two days? In such completely different areas? From compete different circumstances? It does seem virtually impossible to happen.
We had a nice chat about our holidays, I suggested they go to Brighton for the day and then I continued on.
Beyond that not much else happened, went for drinks with Des (next door neighbour) then for dinner at the local restaurant. Beautiful food and had vodka for dessert with rhubarb sorbet. Most amazing dessert I've ever had.
I'm sorry guys I know these blogs must be getting a bit boring by now, I intend to find a way to make it a little more fun to read other than I did this, I did that etc etc.
But then again, I'm just relaxing and kicking back a bit at the moment there'll be more interesting things to talk about soon.
A la prochaine
