So i have reached the end of my Greyhound buspass, Cairns. This is the last stop for most people and unfortuantly this is where most of the group broke up and went our seperate ways. There was alot of "leaving drinks" going on for a couple of weeks. We all stayed at a hostel called Gilligans, it was a nice clean place and alot of fun. I stayed in Cairns for just under a month, trying to look for work. Unfortunatly it was just coming into the rainy season, which meant there was hardly any work available!

After a week a few of the guys managed to get into a Sharehouse flat, so we had many evenings drinking there before heading into Cairns city centre. In the end Sophie and i moved in and slept on the sofas, as sophie had run out of money and they let us stay for free. In mid January Sophie had to fly home as we could not get work anywhere and I decided to move back down to Brisbane, as the weather was awful in Cairns and it was Cyclone season!!! I just wanted a bit of sun! So i booked my flight and left Cairns and the group on the 30th January. I was sad to leave everyone as we had become good friends, but it had to be done.

Next stop Brisbane!!! xxx
