So it's my 21st bday got some lovely gifts from Cean, a hat and a funny tshirt and a postcard which was way better than a bday card. Was strange not spending it with family though especially as it was my 21st. I'll have to do something big for my next one back at home.
We had breakfast on the beach which was really nice, white sand a palm trees, bliss! Then we had a dip in the Sea and made the fattest sandcastle and put happy 21st on it. Really memorable part of the day. Then we went back to the hotel and slept quite a while and when we woke up we decide to go back to the reggae bar for celebrations as it was guaranteed good music. Plus they sing you happy birthday :D
We ended up taking a detour for food and 3 times the waitress got my order wrong. I wanted chocolate ice cream. :( got it at the end of the night though. Had a lovely cocktail at the reggae bar and danced and danced then left and found a small rasta bar to jam in where I Skyped a few people :).
The day after we saw another waterfall, this one was a lot better na muang I think it was called. After climbing i stood under the water flowing off the rocks at the top to cool down, it was magical. Koh Sumai is very nice, a good place to settle for a while after hectic travelling. Then after getting a cab back to the hotel ( with a pissed off cab driver as he waited he's for us to return) we rested and then found a small bar to eat in which we returned to the next day. Martins bar, it had jenga too :)
Next day was our last so we spent it on the beach I fell asleep in the sand which was soooo relaxing. Didn't swim much as there were these little fishes that kept trying to eat me.
Day of leaving koh Sumai: longest journey ever. Cab, boat, coach then cab then boat to koh samet. Cab was fast boat was lovely coach was sooooo long and it broke down so we missed our next one and now I'm stuck in Bangkok for the day. Met a cool Aussie dude who had to sleep on the floor in front of the toilet as the coach was over booked, poor guy. Another aussie lot on the coach before we're the most annoying people I've cone across all holiday. Starting fights with everyone. We were broke down for like 2 hours. Train next time for sure! Bangkok Sux. It's loud and daytime and no sleep. Going crazy. Miss my bath, hate showers. Zzzzzzzz
