3rd May- Meeting Meg and Ian,

Today was the day of the tuk tuk tour, we booked a 15 day trip to go north to Chang Mai, we didnt completly understand the women but we went for it anyway and we got a brilliant deal, 15 days pretty much all in, accomodation, food and some trips.

We then met up with Megan and Ian on the night at cheap charlies which is in NaNa, we had to take the sky train to get there and we loved it and got to see the real Bangkok its very local place as we were the only western (falang) on the train...they gave us some great advise and introduced us to Mai Tai which is a famous thai cocktail which went down nicely :) including lots of rum and voddie....Ian told us about a cool place they have been too called (ancient city) and to get there we met him at his school and we got to look round it was beautiful we then got a taxi sent to school and went to ancient siam which is a living museum in the shape of Thailand and has lots of replecus of different temples and ruins, and to get around the site you can hire golf buggies, so we obviously did this and luke was in his element, we got a taxi back to the school and headed for the sky train and relised we actually hadnt eaten anything alday so we has some street food, the best spring roll we have ever eaten and a mystery meat kebab on a stick which was amazingly good! this was a great day, when we got home we stopped off at a bar outside of our hostel where there was a great vibe and they had a thai singer playing guiter, he was so good! got a video...every song he sang he sounded like the actual singer everybody was loving it!! we made a friend called Zach Towers he loved us as after 10 minutes he gained lukes trainers which he didnt want anymore, we have chucked quite alot of stuff away as everybody told us we would.
