Hi i'm leaving this message from my desk at my new job! The view from my desk looks out over the harbour, right above the opera house on the 41st floor! Its the most amazing view ever. shame i have to do work while i am here though (even though i am blantently not at the moment!!) Anyway enough of being cheeky better get back to it!!

Hello lovely Elles belles!! We are in Cairns. Having a good time, but needing to adjust to the normality of it all. This is a bigger culture shock than arriving in Dehli! We will be in Sydney from about 10th Aug for a week with my mum, but we might be working here too, so might come back to sydney to get a job for 2 months! So that would be cool to see you. Just booked a VEY expensive diving trip, but it is very fancy - low level scenic flights to and from your dive sites, and live aboard a georgeous boat for 4 days and do 12 dives in some of the best dive sites in the world!! ( I am a sucker for a good sales patter!!) so sydney sounds V cool, carins is FULL of backpackersa, you are so right about it being like our uni days... I even got ID-ed at a night club last night, I nearly kissed the bouncer!! anyway, keep the info coming, and I will see you in 1 month!! xxxxxxx

Hi sis, just looked at the latest batch of photos, it looks like you're having a brilliant time and you look fab! Am soooo jealous as would love to go to Sydney, maybe one day....Your little niece is doing well, she actually managed to roll over last night for the first time in her cot, which was hilarious because once she got on her front she got stuck and couldn't roll back again, she was v. annoyed and half asleep so I had to do it for her! Not much planned this end apart from visiting various relatives, aqua aerobics, endless washing and making funny faces at Emily - it's all good! Speak soon. Big Sis & Little Buddha xxx

It was brilliant to speak to you last week as I am really missing you (which is weird seeing as you hardly lived 'close' when you were here- but at least I knew I could see you if I wanted to, and it was far easier to call you when you are on the same time!)!

Just got a promotion at work - I am now officially old as my new job title is Senior Account Manager! Going to Barbados on our hols (got a v cheap deal) in Sep - can't wait!

Putting the house hunt on hold until after our hols - so its all go!!

At Singapore airport at the mo, V excited about our flight to OZ. From you you have said it sounds amazing!! Am looking forward to an early birthday night out with you, although my mum will be tagging along, but she can always hold the coats while we go for a dance (and buy the drinks!!) I feel I am ready to leave South East Asia (I think 5 months is enough...talk about outstaying your welcome) I am so sick of fish sauce!! Can't wait to hear more about your trip...the shoe is firmly on the other foot now, you are the OZzie travel experts!! lots of handy tips please!!

just a quickie to say hope you had a good full moon and your hangover clears up quikcer than mine did (i think i'm still suffering and we went in april).
