So today we are leaving NZ for Fiji. Quite sad to leave but I'm sure the beach will comfort us!!!We did a trip right to the top of the country on Friday. Had a go at sand boarding (great fun but hard on the legs as you trudge up the sand dunes) and saw the pointwherethe Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean before a drive down 90 mile beach.
We couldn't leave New Zealand without doing something mad so after our couple of days up in the Bay of Islands we came back to Auckland for one last hurrah!!! To try so to show that we ain't pussies we thought we would do the biggest jump of them all. So on Saturday afternoon we decided to jump off Skytower in Auckland city centre!!! Being the tallest building in the southern hemisphere and the largest jump in New Zealand at 192m we were pretty proud of ourselves. Really cool and a pretty good view as you drop. Didn't have much luck with the skydive but hoping to do one sometime soon!
So there we are a little bit of thrill seeking to finish off our time here - now its off to Fiji to relax.
