SO... we're finally packed UP and all our stuff is being shipped to SA as we speak (write / read / whatever!). It was an emotionally taxing day, but it's over and we're glad! The second item on the to-do list has been completed!
So it started with a bang! Or a shot as it happens. Just over 2 months left now untill departure - we had the first 3 of 12 vaccinations done today, the rest being done over the next 4 weeks. Despite the tenderness reminding me that we are now well and truly on our way, it doesn't make this any more real!
