Today we spent some time visiting a couple of Bangkok's temples. Firstly we visited Grand palace, which is one of the King's residences. What an absolutely beautiful place, with so much to see. It must have taken ages to construct, but well worth the time spent. From there we visited Wat Pho Temple, which again is stunning. And so our journey begins..........We set off from Inverness this morning by train to Aberdeen and flew to London Heathrow airport and will fly on to Bangkok tonight. We will then be spending four nights there before making our way by an over night train to Georgetown for two weeks.
