We headed back for a few days in Perth after our trips to Freemantle and Rottnest. We booked into the backpackers by Cottesloe Beech for a few days of beech culture. The weather was really hot there which made the beech look really nice. The waves were quite big aswell so managed to have an entertaining swim, dodging the waves and catching the big ones all the way back into the shore.

On the Sunday we headed to the WA famous 'Sunday Sessions' as we couldnt go last time we visited Cottesloe. Its basically like a friday drinking session but it starts at 3pm on a sunday! We met up with a guy we met in Freemantle, Neil and his Aussie friend, Nick. After a few drinks outside we headed to another bar right on the sea front where the sun went down. By the end of the evening we'd sampled the complete 'session' to the maximum, and retired home for some well earnt rest!

The following morning we headed back to central Perth for a night before we departed for our tour of the South West the following morning (which you can read about elsewhere!). After the tour we had one final night in Perth where we went to have a few goodbye drinks with MAtt from the tour. I even entered a pool competion and managed to get knocked out in the first round by a guy with one arm... he was a really good player though- honest!
